The Administrative Group oversees all aspects of the Center’s day-to-day functioning, including personnel, budget, purchasing, and monitoring of the Center’s timelines for state and federal reports and Center projects.

Terri Morales, Office Supervisor II
Terri oversees the function of the Center, ensuring that the needs of the department are met. She also supervises various office management functions, including the development and implementation of procedures for monitoring work activities. Terri’s recommendations of measures to improve the methodology, performance and quality of CIERP’s products and services have long helped CIERP achieve its goals. Ms. Morales has been a UTEP employee for 16 years, starting as a Senior Administrative Clerk for the Office of Institutional Studies. In 1996, she became a Technical Staff Assistant III with the Center for Institutional Evaluation, Research and Planning, where she managed timely submission of external surveys and questionnaires, such as IPEDS surveys, LBB performance measures, and institutional surveys. Prior to working at UTEP, Ms. Morales worked at a local hospital as an administrative secretary for 7 years.
Ramon Aragon, Undergraduate Assistant
Ramon began working for CIERP in Fall 2008 as an Undergraduate Assistant. He is currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Biology at The University of Texas at El Paso, and plans to attend Graduate School to pursue a Molecular Biology degree. Ramon assists the center’s administrative staff as a front desk attendant for the department. While carrying out daily office duties, Ramon aids other team members by completing specific tasks that will in turn help in a timely completion of the staff’s assignments.
